About Us
Health and fitness are so important to our lives, which is why I am always trying to help people find ways to work them into their daily routine. Over the years I’ve found that one of the best ways to actually get people moving the way and as often as they’re supposed to is with trampolines.
A little background: I’m a gymnastics teacher who has seen the benefits of working with trampolines for years now. My students almost always love bouncing, especially the little ones. The older kids not only enjoy it, but they also are able to use rebounders and trampolines to build their core and develop new skills in a reasonably safe manner. In both cases, they tend to develop strong bones and great endurance.
Another thing that I have noticed is that parents often stare at their children in envy. They want to be bouncing, too. And who can blame them? It’s the closest to open air flying that most people ever get. I can’t tell you how many parents I’ve had to tell that they’re not too old to bounce and their bodies will probably be able to handle it.
I started writing here to help people, adults and children alike, see the benefits of trampolines for health and fitness. Not only is it a great workout for your whole body that focuses on your core, can improve back strength, and builds muscle while burning fat, but it’s also a ton of fun! Considering that boredom is one of the main things that keeps people from working out regularly, an activity that they look forward to every day can do more than even the most intense cardio that they force themselves to endure every once in a while.
And make no mistake, I practice what I preach. Not only do I make sure to use the trampolines at work, but I also have a rebounder at home that has become the most used piece of exercise equipment that I have ever owned. While the free weights collect dust and I use the treadmill to hang laundry, the rebounder comes out nightly to help keep me in shape.
Considering my years of experience both in gymnastics and as a user of trampolines, I thought I had something to offer the world in helping them not only pick the one that is going to be best for them, but making suggestions on how to get the most out of it, what sort of storage options you have, best maintenance practices, and even the brands and models that you can count on.
Everything you see here is my opinion and you can trust that it’s honest. I get no money for these reviews from the companies nor do I get promotion from them in any way. If you follow a link to Amazon and end up buying a product, I do get a small commission from Amazon which is helps to supplement my salary. Each post will be me using my expertise to tell you something that will help you out somehow. More than anything, I think it’s important to be honest so that anyone coming across my page won’t get hurt by a bad product or practice.
But enough about me! Go read the articles, see what kinds of benefits you can get from trampolines, and start putting together some routines that will help you get fit and healthy. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to leave a comment, and have fun bouncing your way to better health!
Best,
Rick
